Thursday of the Month |

What we're all about:
Our motto is "Faith, Fellowship & Service." We seek to learn more about our Catholic faith, build fellowship and friendship among our members,
and perform a variety of services for the parish. Monthly meetings are a combination of fun and learning, beginning with refreshments
and social time, with the opportunity to meet new friends, followed by a general business meeting and a speaker or activity to inspire us to live for Christ.
For example, meetings in the fall of 2011 included a lively presentation on the importance of Rome to Catholics by Katie Powers,
who served as a volunteer during the Jubilee Year and has been to Rome many times. We also celebrated the Blessed Mother's Birthday with cake and a presentation on several of her appearances.
The CWA assists the parish with numerous functions such as Receptions, Special Events, and Bereavement Luncheon Requests. The CWA also sponsors several annual events, including a Floral Show and Fashion Show.
The CWA provides financial support to a variety of organizations, including SOLVE Maternity Homes, the St Vincent de Paul Society,
and the parish youth group, and gives a $500 scholarship for a graduating senior from the parish, as well as other worthwhile projects.
Membership:
CWA welcomes all women and encourages the women in the parish to join.
The membership dues are $20.00 for the current calendar year, but we make special arrangements
for a partial year and financial hardships. The dues are used to fund projects for the year. Come join us and eat, laugh, and learn.
We're sisters in Christ.
