WHAT IS THE "WOW" GROUP?
WOW is a parish group dedicated to Widows Or Widowers and Single or Divorced people. We meet on a monthly basis for support, related speakers and topics, lunch and lots of laughs. We usually offer catered lunches in the $10-$12 range. Occasionally, we do a field trip or outing. It is not a "dating" group — it was created when we discovered many of our parishioners were widows or widowers and needed something special to look forward to. People have enjoyed these monthly get-togethers for several years now. All parish events include a WOW table so WOW members can join in comfortably. Thanksgiving and Christmas are always made special for the members. Friendships flourish here.
