CHORALE
High School & Up
Dedicated to celebrating the choral art as a living vibrant tradition in the Roman Catholic Church. Our membership consists of men and women from various musical backgrounds and a wide variety of professions. You do not need to read music, just love singing and be able to carry a tune. We meet every Wednesday evening at 7:00pm for rehearsals and sing once a week at a Sunday morning Mass.
THE JUBILATE SINGERS
High School & Up
11:30 Mass - This is a small group of singers who sing with
Joy
using harmonies in both traditional and contemporary hymns. The Jubilate Singers rehearse prior to the 11:30 Mass at 10:50am and receive music and recordings to familiarize themselves with music before each Sunday Mass. No Audition needed, just a love of singing!.
RINGERS
High School & Up
This is a unique and fun ensemble that rings chimes and handbells. This ensemble is for music readers who want to explore making music as a group and love to build on new repertoire as musicians. They meet once a week and play at select Masses. Our three octave handbell choir requires 11 ringers, but we also need subs to fill in for rehearsals and Masses when someone is absent.
CHAMBER CHOIR
High School & Up / Audition only
Our Chamber Choir is a group of about 20 singers who can read music and learn challenging music at an accelerated pace. The Chamber Choir sings classical, A Capella, and different styles of music including our traditional hymns. This group sings once a month at 4:30 Saturday Masses or other events in the church and meet weekly on Tuesdays from 5:30-6:30pm. All members are expected to learn their parts at home and are prepared to put music together and refine at rehearsal. If you are experienced in singing in choirs and need that extra challenge, consider auditioning for this group.
CANTORS
Leaders of Song/Psalmists
This is a ministry for those with strong singing voices and an ability to lead the congregation in song. It is an important leadership role in the liturgy. Anyone interested in the cantor program should contact Lori Martin.
INSTRUMENTALISTS
