Catholic Women's Bible Study (CWBS) is open to women from all the Catholic Churches in Manatee County and snowbirds unable to return to Florida at this time.

During Covid-19 we are not conducting large group meetings. Small group meetings are being conducted as determined by each small group leader and her participants.

During "normal" times, CWBS meets at Ss. Peter and Paul's Msgr. Moretti Center on Wednesday mornings from 10am until noon during announced study periods. We study a book of the Bible or a Bible based theme, such as Peace & Justice, Women of the Bible, Fearless & Free, etc.  All studies are taught from a Catholic perspective.  Studies consist of video presentations followed by small group gatherings. Each study includes a book that expands on the video teaching and has questions to go along with the video and text lesson.  Each week the questions are discussed in small group settings.  We also have fellowship and refreshments before the meeting at 9:30 am.

We welcome you to join us and learn more about your Catholic Faith. Your non-Catholic friends are also welcome. If you need further information or would like to inquire about the Catholic Women’s Bible Study, please contact Joelise at 941-730-8335 or send an e-mail to [email protected].
